35mm Film Photography

I never stepped foot in a darkroom until earlier this year — but spent 10 of the past 15 years shooting film exclusively.

You’ve probably heard stories of photographers leaving behind hundreds, or thousands of unprocessed rolls, even in this digital age. With that in mind I enrolled to the ACP’s “Film Process and Proof” course — thinking I’d avoid the same fate and get through a backlog of 300+ rolls in no time! Probably fair to say “mission failed” at this stage — instead it brought me to ‘smack it up; flip it’ back to black-and-white film again — now the primary artillery for Sniping. With less time to process than I have to shoot, below I share with you some recent works I’ve shot on film then hand-processed at the ACP’s darkroom.  -& will soon be headed ‘back to the lab.’
