Precision Shooting

Sniping on a densely populated street reaps several rewards to the people-hunter  such as myself — in what I’d consider a mankind version of “wabbit season.” One of those rewards is just the mere satisfaction of hitting my target through a very small window of opportunity.

Precision Shooting – maximizing the effective use of AF focal points (or continuous manual focus) and releasing the shutter instantaneously – where timing means everything. Definitely a personal preference over shooting your average “sitting duck.” The photographs below represent some of those instances where the “thrill of the kill” likely became an equal or greater motive behind the shot – aside from what initially drew me to the subject.
